Growing abundantly between our rows of Chardonnay, the herb Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis) bears bright fragrant yellow flowers that bloom only in the evenings of summer and autumn. It is a real marvel to see masses of flowers straining toward the moon on a brightly lit night.This wine displays a light, golden straw colour with a bouquet of honey dew melon and ripe peaches. Its flavoursome palate is medium bodied and fruit-filled, with a hint of well integrated French oak giving added structure. The flavours are long lasting , and the wine finished with a delicate , crisp acidity.
