The dry, cool to mild climate of the Great Southern region is well suited to the production of a spicy Shiraz style of wine with great depth of flavour and structure. We endeavour through meticulous viticulture and wine production to produce a wine that will express its sense of place and coupled with selected tight grain French oak that supports rather than dominate the fruit.

Plantagenet Wines is one of Western Australia's leading estates, produing stylish wines since 1974. We select the best fruit from our mature vineyards which grow around the Mount Barker district, to produce distinctly varietal wines expressive of our cool maritime climate. Our Shiraz is all spice and pepper with a lush expansive palate.
