Margaret River is one of the premier wine-growing regions of the world.Tucked away in the south-west corner of Western Australia, the region boasts free-draining lateritic gravelly loam soils and a cool Mediterranean climate freshened by sea breezes from the Indian and Southern Oceans. This makes it the ideal place for growing grapes and crafting premium wines.

Tshiraz is the most ubiquitous grape variety grown in the Australian wine industry. This has not happened by chance but as a testament to the flexibility of the shiraz grape. In the cool maritime climate of Margaret River, shiraz has developed a big following as it has the ability to age yet produce wines of finesse.
