Antiquarian Shiraz is crafted from vintage 2006.The fruit for the Antiquarian
is sourced from the best parcels of our cool climate Clare Valley vineyards,then
matured in French and American oak until bottling in October 2008.
Brooding blackberry aromas are underpinned by alluring lavender and violet
notes. Nuances of liquorice,mint and savoury oak add further complexity to a
full-bodied palate of vibrant forest fruits. Although appealing now,the
Antiquarian Shiraz will benefit from 5-10 years careful cellaring.
