Treehouse wines, made at the Salitage Winery allows us to explore alternative varietal wines that are being grown in the Pemberton wine region of Western Australia.
This Shiraz has an aroma of berry fruit underpinned by pepper and spice. Soft rounded fruit flavours in combination with supple tannin combine to reveal a wine that offers attractive drinking now but has potential for medium term aging.Excellent depth of colour, purple/red hues.  Intensely perfumed aromatics of pepper, spice and sweet fruits, reminiscent of blueberry.  Subtle earthy undertones and hints of mint add to a very complex nose.  The palate displays exceptional fruit, acid, tannin balance with a lingering peppery aftertaste.  A wine that is drinking very well now, but will gain further complexity with bottle age.
